The Church of Welaka is seeking an Associate Pastor. This is an opportunity to serve under a seasoned Pastor (40+ years in the pulpit) as you are being prepared to take over the flock. We are a Southern Baptist Church. The town of Welaka is experiencing a lot of growth right now and expect even more. We are looking for a Pastor that has children and will show an interest in our Children's Ministry also. We are an active church with many ministries. Our average church attendance is 80-100 people on Sunday morning. We have an evening service on Sunday and Wednesday. Attendance is approximately 25-30 for the evening services. Wednesday night we also have a Children and Youth program. Our plans are for a pastor to come work with our pastor for a 1-2 year term and learn our church, then take over as the Lead Pastor.
